Finance Manager
(Dumai - Riau)

Responsibilities:
We are looking for technically strong and commercially focused Finance Manager to join our newly incorporated company in Dumai, Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up the accounts department, managing all financial information for the company, including overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts, budgets and financial reports, monthly management accounts and ensuring compliance with legal and fiscal requirements.

Heading up the Finance function you will report directly to the President Director and Group Manufacturing Financial Controller in Malaysia, working closely to provide advice and financial services as well as undertaking ad-hoc finance projects.

Key duties included :
    Responsible for the maintenance of all ledgers, journals, budgets, financial statements, cash flow planning, tax compliance and other accounting records of the company.
    Oversee the accounting operation, budgets, taxation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and financial reporting requirements.
    Provide leadership to the finance team, and contribute as an effective member of the Management team.
    Provide financial services to the Business, e.g. credit control monitoring and review of trading terms, to ensure effective control and optimization of financial resources.

Requirements:
    Degree in Finance/ Accounting or recognised professional accountancy qualification with minimum 8 years working experience. Overseas working experience will be an added advantage.
    An independent self-starter, able to deliver within tight deadlines and requiring minimal guidance.
    Good business acumen with a solid understanding of an industrial, manufacturing or chemical business and its market complexities, on top of a solid understanding of accounting framework and tax regulations.
    Possess good leadership skills.
